New sparks, same problems

Treating 'George' to a new set of NGK's finest has solved the not starting issue, and allowed a nice v8 burble  for a few minutes at least.

Then as it gets warm it just goes flat and doesn't want to rev. I guess the next step is to take the carbs off and   try not to break them.

Don't trust the timing marks if you're not the person who assembled George.

Our Frank is 90 degrees out according to the marks. Drop it to 45 degrees and you can pull the battery and it won't shut down.... Lined up he starts, farts & dies.

Petrol 2 1/4.
